Beyond Busking: Empowering South Africa’s Street Musicians
The Beyond Busking Project is transforming the landscape for South African buskers. Designed as an intensive three-month training and mentorship program, the project provides invaluable skills to help street performers refine their craft and reach new heights.
Participants receive expert coaching in vocal training, stage presence, guitar mastery, songwriting, musical arrangement, and in-studio production—all essential tools to compete on an international level. Beyond skill-building, the program fosters meaningful career opportunities, paving the way for local and global recognition.
Beyond Busking Auditions 2024
On November 5, 2024, the historic Castle of Good Hope set the stage for the Beyond Busking Auditions, where emerging musicians showcased their raw talent in hopes of securing a place in this transformative program.
