Beyond Busking Festival Day follows international trends where busking is considered a career by providing street musicians and artists with a sustainable income and platform to showcase their art.

The focus of this 2-day event is Community Arts for Community Wellbeing and to highlight community artists by giving them a bigger platform in the main festival at the Castle of Good Hope.

This project develops local buskers with skills such as personal development, vocal training, songwriting, music arrangement and production.
